[ Fault Tolerance and Optimization ]

Why large digital businesses are switching to Kubernetes orchestration

K8s cluster eliminates dependency on a single physical server, distributing the load among dozens of nodes

[ 01 ]

Resilience to any traffic spikes

During Black Friday or large-scale TV advertising K8s automatically increases the number of application copies from 3 to 30 within 1 minute, eliminating "site crash".

[ 02 ]

Automatic self-healing without human involvement

If there is a memory leak or a process hang in the code, K8s kills the problematic container within 2 seconds and launches a new one, redirecting clients to healthy nodes.

[ 03 ]

Optimization of server infrastructure costs

At night time, when the traffic decreases, the autoscaler automatically reduces the number of servers to a minimum, saving up to 40% of the monthly hosting budget.

[ 04 ]

Isolation of microservices and independence of releases

Failure in one service (for example, report generation) never brings down the entire internet store or payment system: services operate in strictly isolated spaces (Namespaces).

[ STAGES OF KUBERNETES DEPLOYMENT ]

What is included in turnkey K8s cluster deployment and configuration

Full engineering cycle from containerization to Ingress balancing and monitoring setup

[ STEP 01 ] Architecture

Audit of architecture and design of cluster topology

We calculate the required number of Control Plane (Master) and Worker nodes, design the network plugin CNI (Cilium / Calico) and data storage CSI.

[ STEP 02 ] Clustering

Deployment of fault-tolerant cluster (K8s HA Cluster)

We are raising a highly reliable cluster with distributed etcd, redundant balancers and automatic node restarts.

[ STEP 03 ] Helm

Manifest templating (Helm Charts / Kustomize)

We package all services of your application into convenient Helm charts: variable parameterization, simple configuration updates, and release history.

[ STEP 04 ] Auto-scaling

Configuration of auto-scaling (HPA) and Ingress Controller

We implement Horizontal Pod Autoscaler rules based on CPU/RAM or custom metrics, configure Ingress Nginx / Traefik with SSL certificates.

[ STEP 05 ] Security

Implementation of security (RBAC, Network Policies, Vault)

We distribute access rights through RBAC, isolate traffic between pods using network policies, and connect to a secure password vault.

[ STEP 06 ] Monitoring

Monitoring Prometheus/Grafana and 24/7 support

We install Kube-Prometheus-Stack with load dashboards for each pod, configure Telegram alerts, and provide support under agreed procedures.

[ FREQUENT QUESTIONS ]

Answers to common questions from customers

Key details regarding terms, independent website editing, and rights transfer.

If you have a simple website or a small service with 1–2 servers, a simpler Docker Compose stack fully meets your needs. Kubernetes becomes necessary when: 1) site downtime even for 5 minutes causes significant financial losses; 2) traffic has regular unpredictable spikes (sales, advertising); 3) the system consists of many microservices that are updated by different developer teams independently of each other.

Managed clouds are convenient because the provider is responsible for Master-nodes, but their cost may range from 1000$ to 3000$/month. A private Kubernetes cluster on Hetzner (Bare-Metal) servers costs only 200–400$/month for the same amount of RAM and CPU cores, providing a massive budget saving for high-load projects.

Thanks to the Rolling Update strategy. When deploying a new version of K8s, it launches a new pod (container), checks its status (Readiness Probe). While the new pod does not start successfully responding to HTTP requests, the old pod continues to serve customers. Traffic is switched instantly and unnoticed by the customer.

Yes. Containers are inherently stateless (Stateless), but for databases and file storage we configure persistent volumes, Persistent Volumes (PV), through CSI subsystems (for example, Longhorn, Ceph, or AWS EBS). Even if a pod is destroyed or moves to another server, its database disk is immediately mounted again.

Yes, we provide SLA-based support for clusters under a contract: resource monitoring 24/7, timely version updates of K8s without stopping application operations and resolution of any incidents with guaranteed response time up to 15 minutes.
