Turnkey design, development and migration to a microservices architecture

We split cumbersome slow monoliths into autonomous, easily scalable microservices according to the Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methodology. We organize event-oriented communication (Event-Driven) through brokers RabbitMQ/Kafka, high-speed connection via gRPC, automatic routing via API Gateway, and independent releases for different development teams.

✓ Isolation of failures: the failure of one secondary microservice will never stop the operation of the entire platform
✓ Independent fast releases: teams deploy updates for each service separately within 5 minutes without conflicts
✓ Flexible point scaling: adding resources only to those components that are under peak load
✓ Event-driven stack (EDA): asynchronous message queues RabbitMQ / Apache Kafka and gRPC protocol

[ ARCHITECTURAL FLEXIBILITY ]

When business growth hits the limits of monolithic code

Microservices transform a heavy, inflexible system into a flexible constructor with unlimited scalability

[ 01 ]

Parallel work of multiple teams

5–10 development teams work on their microservices in their own repositories, not blocking each other during code merging.

[ 02 ]

Business Continuity (99.99% Uptime)

If the email delivery service is down due to a provider failure, order placement, catalog and payment continue to function in normal mode.

[ 03 ]

Rational server cost

Instead of renting expensive giant servers for the entire monolith you scale only the catalog or search service at peak demand.

[ 04 ]

Freedom to choose technology stack

Each microservice can be written in the language where it is most effective: Go — for microsecond API, Python — for AI, PHP — for logic.

Work plan for decomposition

What is included in the design and implementation of microservices architecture

Comprehensive engineering transition without interrupting the current commercial product

[ STEP 01 ] DDD

Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Context Identification

We conduct Event Storming sessions, identify bounded contexts (Bounded Contexts) and responsibilities boundaries of each microservice.

[ STEP 02 ] Gateway

Design of a single API Gateway (KrakenD / Kong)

We configure a centralized entry point for clients: request routing, data aggregation, JWT authentication, and Rate Limiting.

[ STEP 03 ] Event Bus

Implementation of event broker (Event Bus Kafka/RabbitMQ)

We create a reliable event-oriented bus for asynchronous communication between services with a guarantee of message delivery (At-Least-Once).

[ STEP 04 ] gRPC

High-speed internal calls through gRPC

We describe contracts using Protocol Buffers (.proto) for binary data serialization with speed 7–10 times higher than REST.

[ STEP 05 ] Saga

Distributed transactions (Saga Pattern)

We implement the Saga pattern (Orchestration or Choreography) to ensure data consistency and compensating actions in case of failures.

[ STEP 06 ] Tracing

Distributed tracing and monitoring (Jaeger / Tempo)

We implement end-to-end tracking of each user request (Trace ID) through all services for immediate search of slow locations.

[ FREQUENT QUESTIONS ]

Answers to common questions from customers

Key details regarding terms, independent website editing, and rights transfer.

Yes, this is a fundamental rule of real microservices architecture. If all microservices connect to a single shared database, you end up with so-called "distributed monolith", where a change in the structure of one table breaks other services. Isolated databases guarantee full independence of teams and deployments.

In microservices, the concept of eventual consistency (Eventual Consistency) and the Saga pattern are used. If one of the steps in a complex process (for example, withdrawal of funds) fails, the system automatically sends compensating events back along the chain (for example, returns the booked item back to the warehouse).

The gRPC protocol from Google operates over modern HTTP/2 with persistent open connections (Multiplexing) and transmits data in Protocol Buffers binary format. It does not spend time parsing heavy text JSON strings, which reduces latency between internal services in 5–10 times.

If your project is on the early startup stage (MVP), where the business model changes every week, or if only 1–3 developers are working on the code, microservices will bring unnecessary complexity (DevOps overhead). In such a case, a high-quality modular monolith is a significantly cheaper and more efficient solution.

The Strangler Fig pattern involves gradually "wrapping" the old monolith. We are not rewriting everything from scratch over years (which often leads to startup failures), but instead sequentially extracting individual functions into microservices (for example, first the notification system, then the cart, then the catalog), gradually replacing the old code without risk of business interruption.
